The grapes for this wine are sourced from vineyards in the Paarl, Malmesbury and Philadelphia areas. The vines, situated on mostly south to south-westerly-facing slopes, are harvested by hand during February. Once fermentation is underway, 80% of the fermenting juice is transferred to a combination of new and second-fill French oak barrels, where the wine remains on the lees for approximately six months. Lovely aromas of lime and melon with vanilla oak notes in the background. Crisp and fresh with a creamy texture and subtle citrus and melon flavours.
